It has been three months since I last took any DXM.

I don't suffer from cravings anymore, not really, not the urgent, compulsive feelings I used to have. I do still think about it, though. Often in a wistful way. I miss it.

I hope in a few more months I will be in a position where I can use it again in a ceremonial context. Because what I miss most about it is the connection it gave me to what I sense as the Divine. In the proper context, I think I may yet be able to use DXM in a responsible (i.e., non-recreational) fashion.

I can't even begin to say that I'venot done any drugs for 3 months. I try, but, it can be a sirens call.

at least i'm doing less...and with more caution.....

for many "addicts" drug use feels like connection to the divine. I know it does for me. that peace that i can't seem to obtain other wise, the high that takes me in it's warm comforting arms.

i'm sitting at work, envious of your strengh, but feeling like i'm feigning just the same

You know that I probably relate to this as well or as better than anyone else could. It has been almost 4 months for me, I think. I can't go back in any way though. If you do decide to do so in a responsible fashion, I wish the best for you.

it is the connection it gave me to what I sense as the Divine.
why not nitrous or ketamine or ibogaine or another glutamate NR1A antagonist (out of all of those I realise that only ketamine is a sigma-1 agonist while ibogaine is a sigma-2 agonist).
