I was telling
netmouse and
rikhei that I'm thinking of getting a car, now that I have a permanent job. The kind I want, of course, is a hybrid. They suggested getting on the waiting list now.
I think I can go a few more months before I'd absolutely have to invest more money in the junkbucket that is my current car.

Date: 2005-06-23 03:17 pm (UTC)- The Honda Insight is the most efficient, but only seats two.
- The Toyota Prius has lots of room (about Camry size).
- The Honda Civic Hybrid has less room than the Prius, but is a bit cheaper.
You can take a $2000 tax deduction for any of the above if it's "put in use" in 2005. If in 2006, you can take $500.
Rumors persist of a new, more efficient Civic Hybrid being introduced later this year, but I haven't seen anything solid about it. Which one were you considering?
