Ha. Nearly all of my old faves gathered into one place. And some wonderful new ones. Hard not to just tick all the boxes, but that wouldn't help you much.
It's hard for me to judge the strength of pieces that I wrote this year. They're still too close to me, I guess.

good, but seeing the comments on the poetry site you sometimes link to, I realised how uncritical I have been. It comes from your other critics being poets, who have something valid to say re form. All I can report is which ones tug most powerfully at my gut (the visceral gotcha, as I've called it before). Some of your most technically tricksy and admirable poems, like the pantoum and acrostic don't do it for me at an emotional level, but might impress an academic assessing your application. When's your submission deadline?
