I am posting from the comfort of my own computer.

netmouse, I should have jumped up and down when you handed me this laptop yesterday. It wasn't until last night when I started playing around with it that I realized that this changes everything.

I am indebted.

Tentatively, I have decided to name my electronic helpmate Hermes. Thoth also comes to mind.

Thankee. :) I've always thought you had good taste.

For a moment, I considered 'Beatrice', but I don't actually like the sound of the name, despite its literary historicism.

I'd entertain other suggestions, however. I'd like to think of my machine as feminine; the previous monikers don't actually mesh with that identity.
