Jul. 11th, 2006 10:25 amKeith Olbermann had John Dean on Countdown for a great interview yesterday regarding Dean's new book, Conservatives Without Conscience. Dean recounted that, in the course of writing his book, he came across research done by conservatives over the past 50 years that shows that 23% of Americans fall into the "authoritarian" outlook or camp: these people will follow lockstep with those they see as authoritarian leaders. It was a fascinating interview. This sounds like a book I will need to have in my personal library.
This diary at DailyKos has the scoop on the interview (and other things).
