S.D. to vote on abortion law in Nov.

Oh, and no one is really mentioning this report, which is a lynchpin in the pro-life argument.

it might be more about the baptism than the sanctity of life. as soon as your baptised, your on your own. free will and all. sort of a choice.

I don't follow what you mean. Can you expound?

Many feel that infant baptism is against what the Church stood for (or should stand for). In the Middle Ages, people were not baptised until the age of maturity (usually around 14).

not really, I'm pretty scattered today.

I think what I mean is, if a baby dies before it is baptised (or is aborted) it cannot go to heaven, innocent as it may be. but once baptised, it can starve to death and go to heaven and be saved. so as long as the baby is born and baptised and gets eternal reward, that's more important than quality of life on earth.

this disregard for life on earth and prime importance of afterlife may explain some anti-choice/pro death penalty/anti-social programs contradictions. personally i feel the whole anti-choice movement is anti-sex and based on the false idea that all women should welcome all pregnancies, that motherhood is the highest ambition etc etc. I hope s. dakota votes it down.
