We have a five person household, four of whom are working adults with median to low income jobs, and we can't afford a home to fit our family. It's rather insane.
In any event there has been alot of discussion about this in Miami, where the Median house price exceeds the Median income for PROFESSIONALS by almost 3!
In otherwords it would take 3 people earning 60K to afford a local condo. Can you say "housing bubble?" There is a guy in San Francisco who runs a blog, which can be tedious, but he also links to about 5 or so National and International stories everyday on the housing crisis. Its an interesting read, and you will see you are not alone in your concerns.
