Republican strategy is so scary; they're just so good at this. Roberts is teflon in their pocket -- it's like they've been grooming him to be uncontroversial -- so now they can paint the Dems as obstructionists and nominate a real Nazi when Renquist resigns. He's a Bush friends, a DC insider, who worked red in Florida 2000...and he's only 50, so he'll be there for thirty years. Love, too, how they leaked all those female names the night before, baiting the left to complain that he's a white man. They've got HIT ME, PLEASE stamped on his forehead, and are salivating.
