Weird day at work. Not terribly busy, but steady, I guess. Things going wrong (toilets not flushing, A/C not working). My boss has apparently extended his vacation from 1.5 weeks to 2.

I'm only kind of caught up with news. Though let me say I'm going to enjoy watching this administration take such a tremendous fall.

Do you think that's really going to happen? God, I hope so...but they've turned me so pessimistic about the world, I just don't see it.

If Bush doesn't fire Rove, he's basically dooming himself and his entire administration. If he doesn't fire Rove, then obviously the corruption goes further up. Because Rove shouldn't have had clearance for that information. Someone had to leak it to him. POTUS, VPOTUS, and the NSA had that information. He's got to fire Rove to get the taint away from him or it will certainly spread.

But Darth Vader can't just fire Emperor Palpatine...he's the brains behind the Death Star! I guess he could just phone in all his evil schemes and keep a low profile, but Rove is the real leader of the western world, he's not going down without a fight.
