Krishnamurti once said that it is impossible to become intelligent by starting from a position of ignorance and simply saying, "I want to be smart." The only way to become intelligent, he proposed, was to begin to examine what it was that made a person ignorant; and in that examination, one would undergo the process of becoming intelligent. They would, by an act of awareness, be less ignorant.
I think perhaps that if you seek for the strength to fail, you will not be able to fail (for the finding of that strength would in fact be a success). It is VERY, very difficult to be a complete failure (you would end up being a success at failure, which of course would be self-defeating).
I suggest accepting your weakness. In that awareness, you will find the strength.
