sarahmichigan,
dionysus1999 and I went to the Necto in downtown Ann Arbor. Apparently it'd been a year since they'd reopened, and they had free admission all night and free drinks for the first 100 people who arrived. We all got drink tickets (which I gave away, since I'm abstaining from alcohol).
It was interesting to people watch (something I generally don't do). The fun thing was seeing all the different outfits. I saw a lovely black and red corset on a tallish strawberry blonde. What's that shiny material called? I want stuff like that in my wardrobe.
The DJ left something to be desired, though. Jerky transitions, not fun.
I got on the dance floor for about four minutes, and then I got worried about leaving my purse unattended. Plus I'm out of shape. Plus my top was strapless, so I was on constant nipple alert while moving around. (Good thing it was mainly dark, except for the flashing lights.) It was just better that I got back to the table, my purse and my 7-Up.
It was fun. I hadn't been to a club in about a decade. Maybe City Club next time.
