Someone in psychology pointed out this cool definition of addiction at Wikipedia, and I thought I'd share.

Plus there's this definition of Tanha, something I'd never heard of before.

It's probably going too far to say that reality is an addiction, but since thirst or craving (tanha) is implicated in the world's existence on the most basic level, there is real truth to that. :-)

If this is true, one should be able to examine every mental process and find craving of some sort at its root.
