Keith Olbermann had John Dean and Pat Buchanan on his show to discuss the Deep Throat unmasking. I don't know what I was expecting, but I was quite surprised to hear Buchanan's take on things. He repeatedly expressed how "dishonorable" Felt's actions were, to supply leaks "in the middle of a presidential campaign."

Whistleblowers will never get respect from those with anything to lose.

The guy's in his 90s. I doubt he gives half a shit what Pat "I wouldn't know a good idea if it bit me" Buchanan has to say about him. He's basically saying "Neener-neener" to everyone before he dies, and more power to him for that. It also, in this day and age, might make someone else in the know have the guts to fuck over their employer in order to do the right thing. This is something we really need, I think, to deobfuscate some of what our government is doing these days.
