I really hurt my shoulder last night and, as I told a friend, it doesn't feel like muscle pain. This is a deeper pain and hurts in a much different way.

I've noticed a feeling of deep fatigue in my limbs these last couple of months, and before that my bones had begun to creak and crack. While I know one shouldn't diagnose oneself, I already know that I suffered from heavy metal poisoning, and one of the symptoms of that is skeletal problems. Yes, I haven't exposed myself to bromide in the last three months, but that really wasn't that long ago.

Heavy Metals

Hmm, most of the pages I am pulling up that deal with heavy metal poisoning and bone damage refer to cadmium. Then again, there is very little research done on bromide poisoning--I know that much from previous searches.

As the day goes on, I'm sure my list of links will grow.

My current theory is that I need to fuel the reactor better. I haven't been eating too well of late, which may have lowered my immunity to BS. So I'm pigging out today. :) Oh, and I plan to poison the bugs with alcohol tonight.

As for the bromide poisoning, it occurs to me that even though bromine is a halogen rather than a metal, it reacts with a lot of things. Including metals. The "heavy metal" connection is probably something that reacts with bromine; it may serve as a vector to get the bromine into your body. Bromine, much like chlorine, is a poison in itself, and heavy metals are also bad juju. To find the links you need, it might be best to figure out just what KIND of metal bromide you're looking for (i.e. potassium bromide, cadmium bromide, etc.) and search for that specifically.
