that's gorgeous. is poetry an attempt to overcome alexithymia? awwwww. and what about the "synaesthetic" response to emotion--where you may have no words, but you've got a smell, or a color? how to frame that?

and, oh my god. it's 6am and i'm watching "top secret" with val kilmer. now if that's not the quintessential situation in which to experience this, what is?

in all seriousness, i'm high off this idea; it's absolutely wonderful. a construct to frame wordlessness in the face of emotion? what's next, a diagnostic category for those who engage in sexual relations with the same gender?
