Well, the obvious question is, why did he go to feminist to spout such opinions?
When I actively moderated the atypical-feminist list on Yahoo Groups, I made it explicitly clear that the list was a safe haven--it was assumed that feminism had inherent value and that debate on its basic tenets wasn't appropriate. Apparently feminism isn't such a safe haven. But I don't know--if I had problems with the basics of Christianity, I'd take it to challenging_god, not christianity.
Also, it seems the guy just woke up from the '50s. Where has he been during the years since the Sexual Revolution?
