Jan. 12th, 2005 04:30 pmFinally I got off my butt and submitted my applications for employment to the University of Michigan.
Note that I haven't actually applied for any jobs yet, except temporary employment. U of M has a system where applicants submit bids for jobs instead of applying for every individual position. The main application stays on file for a year, and as long as it is on record you're able to bid for any open position.
Right now there are seven positions I'm almost certainly qualified for, and one where things might be a stretch. Now, as soon as I stop procrastinating on those cover letters....
Update, 6:25 p.m. Four resumes emailed with cover letters, mainly for real estate positions. The rest I will need to either fax or call.
Even a little progress is progress.
