I voted!

I didn't quite know where my polling place was. I went to the nearest gas station, figuring the employees there would know where the elementary school was. Nope. I asked a few of their patrons, and one of the two gentlemen started calling around on his cell phone trying to find directions for me. That was an extraordinarily nice thing to do, and I thanked him several times.

Everything went smoothly at the booth. I was tempted to vote a straight partisan ticket (which I thought Michigan had outlawed, but oh well). I resisted. I voted for several local Green candidates.

Proposal C wasn't on my ballot! I was disappointed. Hopefully other Michigan voters will approve the measure (medical marijuana).

Now I am home, again trying to recuperate from my cold. It's making a comeback. I took the day off work. I'm hoping I'll be up to going in tomorrow. Tonight I'll spend a relatively quiet night taking in the returns.

My apartment's kinda messy, but you're welcome to come over and watch the returns with me if you want, since I'm home sick from work again. Then again, we may not want to share germs...
