I found this great Wired article called "A Prayer Before Dying," about the power of prayer, specifically measured by scientific means. (Wired's just got some talented columnists. Damn.)

too weird - all the wired articles are ones i have bookmarked on recommendation of friends in the past one week - they include, this is your Brain on God, God is the Machine, and a Prayer b4 Dying!

btw, you might enjoy, Ray Kurweil's book: Spiritual Machines. He's an AI evangelist, superb mind.
