I'm one of those people who actually liked the New Coke better than Coke Classic way back in the 80's.

I remember when they made the switch, but it was so long ago, I don't remember how New Coke tasted. I do have friends who swear up and down that when they reverted to Coke Classic, the recipe had changed somehow.

Yeah, it tastes like flat fountain Coke. I think what they did is they took out all the good stuff (like the ingredients that could strip paint and clean pennies), and someone in marketing said, "hey, if we take away carb(onation) we can say we took away carbs."

But on the other hand it isn't as bad as New Coke was, which was a half-assed attempt to imitate Pepsi.

Maybe I just love sugar that much, because I miss the zing that regular Coke has. This stuff is a pale comparison.

I tasted it, and it tasted like regular coke, which surprised me. But then again, it was very warm. Maybe the taste is more unique when it's cool.

There are people who believe that Diet Coke tastes like Coke, too. I guess my tastebuds are just so tuned into sugar that they can't be fooled.

You might want to try a tastetest, get regular Coke and C2 and sip one after the other.

Eh, diet coke doesn't taste much like regular coke, to me. I don't know which one I like better.

I'm kind of getting bored of soda overall, though, heh.
