Applying makeup hurriedly in the cabin of your car is always interesting. My nail polish is already starting to falter, but it only needed to hold up for one hour.

I've been called back for the second interview. It's a three-interview process.

It's funny; I kind of sell myself down. I proudly displayed my education credentials, but then I'd come back with "I don't really have any experience in sales" or "I've never taken accounting". But I did lie and say that I was good with people. So we'll see how the second portion goes.

as someone who used to interview people as part of the job, and who's interviewed literally thousands over the year, i can tell you this: number 1, everyone downsells themselves. its part of good character and should be recognized by a good potential boss. that boss should also be leery of both someone who oversells themselves, and that person who walks in full of self confidence, (who's usually a know-it-all, and a bad employment investment).
number two, the things that stand out are a combination of what is on your resume, which should speak for itself, as well as how you present yourself, maintain eyecontact and have a good and open/welcoming posture. i always relied on those, and it worked much more often than not.
you'll be fine...

Applying makeup in the car should be a career skill.
Even more so in a moving car (assuming one isn't driving).

I'm hopeless with nail polish. Mine smudges within 20 mins of application, even after it feels dry. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong because when I pay to get it done, it lasts at least for 3 hours before chipping.

G'luck with the next step. Smile and look em directly in the eyes :)
