Jun. 24th, 2004 08:38 amSo, two days ago I get home and find a barely legible note about someone who called, presumably about a job. The name of the company was so garbled I had to wait until well after closing to call and listen to the recorded message. Okay, First Investors Corp. What's that about?
So I called back yesterday and was placed into the voicemail for the Recruiting Dept. Okay. Left my info, including my daytime phone.
Got a call this morning from Kim (not the person who originally left the message). They have a time available for an interview. I agree to that. Then she asks, "So, did anyone tell you about the position?" I said, "No; I assume it's for an administrative position?" "No," she said, "it's for a Financial Advisor, someone who helps people plan for college and things." "Okay."
I hang up the phone and immediately mutter, "I'm not qualified for that."
