People don't know what the hell is going on and die.
Amongst other things.
I kind of almost second-guessed myself on the issue of having added you to my friends list when I realized how many times you posted per day, but I'm finding that I really enjoy having what amounts to a 'live' news feed of interesting articles that I don't have to hunt down on my own. Just in case you've ever wondered, there's at least one person out here in the vast wasteland who appreciates your effort. ---- unrelated- ---- My fiancee's son was making noise a few months ago- sometime in March or April- about hearing about a media blackout that Bush apparently was forcing on the media to not report anything critical of him until after the election- he seems to have heard of it on IRC. I don't see how that would be constitutional... I have tried to hunt it down via Yahoo! search and so far have not come up with anything despite the use of several different keyword combinations, and am wondering if you might know anything about it or if it was just a rumor- since you seem to have your finger on the pulse...
Heh. I used to post 1-4 posts a day. That was about a year ago. Then, I don't know what happened.
I wouldn't know about Bush forcing the press into a media blackout, but it's a fact that he and his administration have intimidated (or, I would say bullied) the White House press corps. It's only recently, in the face of major scandal, that the press has found its voice again.
