It's a good thing I had Pigface as preparation.

This stuff is strange.

The band cautions that pages on the 'net aren't necessarily accurate, and I don't think they have an official page. But here's a short review.

Certainly sounds (based on the review) like they would be either interesting or too horrible to listen to. I would suppose from your stated reaction so far that you're not yet acclimated enough to render a (good/bad/you should be interested/you need to go out and get this right now!!!/You should stay away from this and shoot anybody who tries to recommend it to you in casual conversation) kind of opinion of it...

I'm thinking they're an acquired taste. I might have been more gung-ho about them if I'd been a metal fan in the first place: I might then appreciate their roots. As it is, I feel somewhat as though I'd been picked up by a crane, then dropped into a foreign environment. I'm trying to feel my way around, but I keep running into odd things.
