Jun. 9th, 2004 01:21 pmSo there's a tornado coming our way, within the next ten minutes.
It's relatively calm right now. The sun is still out and shining. It's very muggy out. One side of the sky is peachy. The other is becoming rather ominous.
Okay, now the clouds are coming in.
Edit: Well, that was a disappointment. C'mon, Michigan! Is this the best you can throw at us?

Date: 2004-06-09 12:13 pm (UTC)I'm flying for the first time June 30th and will be visiting Detroit, Warren, and the Sterling Heights areas. We will also detour into Canada for an afternoon.
Any advice on the airport, the weather, cool detours, or anything else we could squeeze in in an hour or so?

It's just that I've never been above Tennessee before, so any advice would be helpful.

Date: 2004-06-09 03:42 pm (UTC)(The storm mentioned in the post did spawn a tornado, but it never really threatened our area. Not that I'm looking for an in-your-face threat, but even a tease would be nice. We had whipped-up winds and hard rain. Yawn.)
