I'm not really watching the playoffs, but as my dad is a huge basketball fan, I've been keeping up with the series. I'd feared the Pistons would have lost their Game 5, it being an away game. But I came across news that stated otherwise. I was curious as to how the Washington Post would report things. I appreciated their professional stance. But I couldn't help but laugh when I came across this:

A group of more than 100 Pistons fans were about the only people making noise over the final minute and, while they cheered their team, they also were bold enough to taunt the once-rabid Pacers fans as they exited the arena well before the final horn.

That says everything, right there.

I'm sorry. I don't understand sports or sports fans. To my way of thinking, there are more important things to do.

*shrug* It's just a way of vicarious living.

Personally, I can't wait until fall. Oh football season, you'll not arrive too soon....

Ah, feetsball!
I played that once, in PE. (Physical Education)
The coach hit me in the forehead with his elbow when I was about to tackle him, so I kind of lost interest.

Bah, football. Cheap excuse to not show rugby :p

I'm a pistons fan too ;)

.. but generally, if I pay serious attention to sports, it's to cheer against the yankees, or stare for hours at the olympics. otherwise, not so much interest...
