About a year ago, under the influence of DXM, I said: Time is elastic. Manipulating time is the key to mastering yourself, your inner universe.
Our lives are just one long songtrack (or, I'd say, stereotrack). The sense of hearing was, I'm sure, humans' major sense for a long time.
We individually are tiny particles, rotating in space, weathered against the elements again and again and again until we have no more juice. We are fragments, literal embodiments of time, encapsulated in flesh and amnesiac in spirit.
(Yellow Submarine, "Eleanor Rigby" plays.)

I wrote this on 7/1/01: Our application of knowledge is our "proving" ourselves to others. Voice is putting resonance to that. Sound is energy. Maybe that is why biblically that the universe starts with God "speaking" it into being. Putting an idea into sound is one of our easiest manifestations of (creating) truth.
But you can't really "create" truth. It can only be revealed.

Date: 2002-10-14 01:06 pm (UTC)You can't really reveal it either... you can only attempt descriptions that will always be inadequate due to the inability to completely describe a system without going outside of the system.
So thus you have our syntacticshorthands to easily describe what you have termed "truth": "God", "Om", "Zen", "Tao", "Everything".
Mathematically, the best descriptive I can produce is 1=0.
Otherwise, this is pretty close: ..

I do believe that G-d is truth, and that truth can reveal itself. My apologies for not expressing myself clearly.
BTW, I love the Lain icon. :)

My apologies for not expressing myself clearly.
I got ya. :)

Thanks. Lain manages to pack a lot of good metaphors into a short presentation.
Once agin, let me repeat how happy I am to see you posting again. :)
