Speaking at a community college in southern Arkansas, President Bush made only passing reference to the increasing violence in Iraq. "We've got tough work there because, you see, there are terrorists there who would rather kill innocent people than allow for the advance of freedom," he said. "That's what you're seeing going on: These people hate freedom, and we love freedom, and that's where the clash occurs."

I particularly dislike this "hate freedom" line of rhetoric. No one attacks the US because they "hate freedom". At best, you can say they hate what the US is doing with its freedom, which is very much not the same thing.

terrorist: Anyone who disagrees, especially those who express the disagreement in deeds or words, with GW Bush.
