Back then you had to have a bunch of jack-booted brown-shirts in your back pocket to get things going. That was part of the joy. Got the job done. Why waste a ton of money on propaganda?

Today, stupid people with $100 million can drive a TV to the White House. Money & media can do what thugs alone could never accomplish.
