God is the divine itself, the godhead is the abstraction that we talk about that encompasses all things divine.
Though, I use the terms a bit differently: God = all things manifesting, the world unfolding itself, as itself (everything is God) godhead = the essential nature of the divine from which and for which all existence participates.
It makes me wonder if God made all these choices for us before we started living, and then watched us make them and do bad things just so he can condemn us in the end.
