It took almost three days, but the first lawsuit has been filed in connection with Janet Jackson's breast. A Tennessee woman yesterday filed a proposed class action lawsuit "on behalf of all Americans" who watched the Super Bowl halftime show and were somehow injured by Miss Jackson's adorned nipple.
The Smoking Gun
Item 8 says that "All of the defendants knew that the Super Bowl, the preeminent sports event in the United States, would be watched by millions of families and children. Nevertheless, defendants in the halftime show sexually explicit acts solely designed to garner publicity and, ultimately, to increase profits for themselves."
Um, I didn't see the halftime show in its entirety (in fact, all I've seen are news clips). However, I would posit that much of the halftime show used sexually implicit acts. When I hear the phrase "sexually explicit", I think hardcore pornography. Somehow, I don't think the halftime show lives up to that standard.
