The computer games I bought locally came in the mail today. And although I don't have any speakers, and my video card isn't up to speed, I can play Rollercoaster Tycoon. And I remember why I fell so thoroughly in love with this game.

I can actually play a game on this machine! Wow.

(I also bought Starcraft. But I'm not so excited about that.)

Well, the book doesn't make it look all that great. But I do remember all the hype that surrounded the game in the late '90s, so I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt.

Tell me what I have to look forward to. :) That'll get me champing at the bit. . . .
