This is not the first time I've noticed that I really don't like Jon Meacham. His "America is a center-right nation" thing is just stupid (by American standards, America is center, by definition). Still, pushing Obama to abandon all of his personal strengths is a bit much, even for him.

I read that one yesterday. I actually agree with most of it. Obama needs to spend some actual effort on his domestic agenda rather than spending all his time worrying about overseas issues.
