The letter from the man who shares my last name, well, let's just say I emitted an audible gasp.

The 12-year-old's letter was probably the clearest and most direct. That sort of forthrightness is refreshing. :)

actually i thought that 12 year old's letter was probably the worst written. Forthright? More like jaded and prejudiced. And thats depressing coz the kid's only 12. He sounds like he's been listening to adults speak than making up his own mind and that's what is worrying. I knwo kids of 12 could definitely convey the same message in a more clear-headed manner. He came off like 7 and a copy cat. Sorry I rant :)

I thought most of the letters were very well written. And that poem by the poet laureate .. wow. And even Salam Pax contributed!

Bloody brilliant. Good show! I hope the Shrub is not sheltered from the responses that hold him and his administration in poor favor. I also hope that it really frustrates him; the same way I was frustrated when he responded to the anti-war protests way back in February by saying that our voice was inconsequential. Apparently we have the freedom to bitch, moan and complain as loud as we want, but don't expect the Government to care.
