His trek to FOX will be at blistering speeds. I felt (like some of the folks who left comments to the article) that his brand of vitriol would be more at home at FOXNews than CNN, even before he started regurgitating the birthers' insanity (and thus validating them).
According to NPR this morning, CNN had told Dobbs that he could say whatever he wanted to on his radio show but his television show had to comport with the rest of the programming. This was not enough for Dobbs, who went ahead and endorsed the birther nonsense for all the world to see.
He really left CNN with no other choice but to force him to resign.
Yes, I am harping on one issue in particular. Mr. Dobbs should have known that topic was so toxic that any support of it would come with consequences. Indeed, such was verbally communicated to him by his superiors.
Mr. Dobbs is a xenophobe whose sharp start on cable news came to an ignoble end.
