Ok...if I can't wear shorts in the pool, then she can't wear the burquini...BUT...she should be allowed to wear it at any beach (cept a nude beach perhaps)
So, I think it is fair. As far as so much of a body being covered in schools...its a safety thing....no way to see who you have there, not even gender really. So....I am not a fan. It has nothing to do with their religion...or even the attitude toward women...as long as the women who wear them do so because that is their wish/belief, not from peer pressure, etc.
The burquini might actually be the start of the moslem women breaking out of that mold. Our country started that way, first showing ankles...then oh my...knees, etc. Asking them to shed the entire garb at once is a bit unreasonable.
Now...on to your comments etc.
Oh...one more thing....I skip traveling to countries with attitudes toward women. Its bad enough here.
