very interesting. I think the examples illustrate asperger's very well. A normal person won't have to think, they just put themselves into the other guy's shoes, and the answers come out. Maybe later, there is some sort of rationalization to figure out why we feel the way we feel. Certainly it feels like the dollar example is intention and the cup is not. Why it is, I dunno, but I know that's the right feeling for a normal person. For someone with asperger's they emote differently than "normal" people, not necessarily better or worse, so when they have an example like this they must use logic to figure stuff out.

In this case, the logical result is different from the "normal" result, because a normal person doesn't get the correct logical result, while the asperger's person will, so it's a pretty good test.
