novapsycheComcast On Demand has Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) available for free right now. I couldn't pass it up, as it's been, oh, decades since I'd seen it.
I'd forgotten key parts of the movie, such as the star being Donald Sutherland and it also starring Leonard Nimoy. I'd also forgotten how infuriating Nimoy's character is.
Also, whoever was responsible for the lighting in that movie needs to be unemployed. My goodness.
I have to say, the ending is spot on. (And perfectly frightening for an 8- or 10-year-old girl.)
