I asked to have my email removed from the Barack Obama mailing list. (It's not like I won't have updates on the campaign--MoveOn.org, the ACLU, and John Kerry still send me emails, among other organizations.)

The unsubscribe link redirects to a page where you have to type in your address; also there is a little box to leave comments as to why you no longer want to be on the list. I said:

I have been disappointed with Mr. Obama's tacking to the center in the last couple of weeks, especially in regards to FISA, Iraq, and his stance on faith-based initiatives.

I will not participate in any get-out-the-vote initiatives nor will I contribute to the campaign until Obama begins taking liberal stances again.

I did the exact same thing yesterday, except I only mentioned FISA. Since I heard him change his position on that last week, I really haven't been following any political news, so I don't even know what you're referring to with faith-based initiatives. I'm too disgusted. Let's hope that we're two of a million people who are complaining, and that he wakes the fuck up.

I've linked to the other issues above. The faith-based thing came out of nowhere, in terms of issues on the campaign trail.

There's miles to go before then. Obama is the presumptive nominee. If he keeps this crap up, at the convention, things very well may change. If he doesn't put Edwards on his ticket, I don't quite know how I will feel.

No matter how much Obama disappoints us, we absolutely cannot let McCain pick the next two Supreme Court Justices. Don't even let that thought enter your mind... Seriously. Obama is our last hope. Without exaggeration, if a Republican wins, there is no more republic.

It's all politics. Nobody on the left is going to vote for someone who is even more on the right of the person they were going to vote for. It's politically necessary in order to have a CHANCE at winning states like Indiana and the Carolinas.
