As I was walking toward my door, I happened to look up at our gutters.

There are hundreds of sapling sprouts up there! I find it disgusting, actually.

(My next-door neighbor has the same problem, but not to the same extent.)

They're in the gutters! They're sprouting in . . . last year's muck.

It's going to be a nasty job for whomever has to clean out the gutters (my roommate and I are not renewing our lease).

It IS disgusting! But I have so many trees, and it is so fucking rainy around here that this is an everyyear occurance for me.
