A thought that has been pressing on me lately is that I haven't submitted any poetry this year at all.

This needs to change. I need to try for publication this year.

The collegiate journals begin accepting again generally in September. Which means I'll need to buckle down in August and choose (a) what poems to send and (b) to which publications and contests I'll submit.

This means getting most of my poems from last year off my old hard drive, because most of them never found their way into hard copy. (I barely remember the stuff I wrote last year. Which will be good when I go through with my revision eye.)

August and September. I need to buckle down.

Hopefully, the press will be able to juggle both news stories? Yes? At least Countdown was able to do so yesterday.

One of my co-workers reminded/convinced my boss that he should give us a half day on Friday and $100 to go to the Ann Arbor Art Fair. (He apparently did this last year.)

Cool! I'm not complaining.
