dionysus1999's birthday, and I was able to meet up with him and sarahmichigan for Fantastic Four. That was a pretty fun movie, and I always enjoy hanging out with dionysus1999 and sarahmichigan.
In fact, we all got together the next afternoon and went out to putt-putt. That was only my second time ever doing that, and my score reflected that. But I was able to get a hole-in-one (I did that the very first time I played, too), and my game generally improved as we went along. Afterwards, we headed to the Cingular store, wheredionysus1999 added me onto his family plan. Yay! Later that evening, rikhei and lameautarch showed up, and we played Illuminati (rikhei won) and watched the first hour of Rosencratz and Gildenstern Are Dead.
Yesterday I treated my dad to Batman Begins. He enjoyed it quite a bit, and I liked it, too. I agree with others that it's probably the best Batman movie to date. The timeline and cinematography were well-done. I'd hoped to meet up withlameautarch and some of his friends later in the afternoon, but our schedules didn't synch up. Hopefully we'll get to spend some time together later this week.
Tonight is Thirteen Blackbirds, tomorrow is Magic, Wednesday I have plans withnetmouse, Thursday I have plans with dionysus1999, and I think Friday and Saturday are still free. For the moment.
