Jun. 2nd, 2005 04:47 pmMy boss has given me a task that deals with manipulating data in our database of contacts. This would be very easy for me to do if I were using Microsoft Access. However, we don't use Access here; we use ACT! 2000.
I'm trying to figure out how to export data from ACT! into Access, or import data into Access from ACT! But no dice so far.
He gave me this task a week ago. Admittedly, I've been a bit distracted at work lately, but still I feel like I'm slacking.

Oh, and in case you missed it....
Jun. 2nd, 2005 05:32 pmAt a press conference on Tuesday, President Bush, speaking about detainees who had complained of being abused, said they were "people that had been trained in some instances to disassemble - that means not tell the truth." Mr. Bush meant, of course, to say dissemble, which really means to deliberately mislead or conceal. Nevertheless, he knew what he was talking about. The president may have stumbled over the pronunciation, but he's proved time and again that he's a skillful practitioner of the art.
