Okay, so I deleted some stuff that showed up on my desktop; I ran ScanDisk, which turned up some RedHat stuff that shouldn't have been there, and I deleted those. I tried downloading Spybot, but it requires Win98, and I only have Win95. What should I do now?

I'd like to thank cabellicious for pointing me to Bazooka. It really helped me de-ickify my machine. It detected four programs running, and I deleted them. Manually. I've learned a lot tonight.

Now, I have the latest Bazooka update, which is five days old. It scanned and said nothing was detected. Unfortunately, a pop up window started when I loaded my home page. It failed because it needed a specific dll file. (I should have written that down. I guess I can grab it the next time I boot up and log in.)

What do I do now?

Again, I'd like to thank Cabell. I've learned a lot today. I feel so much more confident as a troubleshooter now.
