If I could now just find a good definition of repentance. Its etymology?

As can be surmised from my last post, I consider myself an Old Testament Christian.
( I know that's a contradiction in terms. )

We are on this Earth to help God in his plan for creation. We as men create--naturally! We have an inborn instinct to create. We are cocreators in the universe with God. And here, on Earth, we can create materially a reflection of what we help create immaterially.
