Is it possible to impeach both a president and a vice-president simultaneously? If so, under what circumstances? and, who would assume the presidency?

Theoretically, if the president and the vice-president were to be impeached, which means to be charged with a crime, they would both be allowed to continue their duties until either convicted or forced to resign for the good of the nation.

If I am not mistaken, when both the Pres and Vice are incompacitated or removed, the Speaker of the House would take over and then the SecState.

However, with the Congress the way it is, the odds that the SecState or SOTH would ever assume leadership are nill, considering the current political climate.

Anything else I can help you with?

For the record, when I said "impeached", I meant "impeached and convicted". As a Clinton fan, I'm all about knowing how impeachment doesn't mean giving up power.

I was just posing a hypothetical question is all. :)

Oddly enough, I would become President. It's in the Constitution! Really!

Amazing the Founding Fathers had not only the insight to know that you were going to be born, but also that you would not be needed to run the country until you grow old enough.
