Not that I give Economists the same credence as Physical Scientists, I thought that Hillary said that the War on Science would end under her Presidency. Here she is clearly pandering, and no logic or credible opinion is going to stand in her way.

What I think the pro-suspenders don't realize is that this money is used for something - it's not like the government collects it just to be mean. The gas tax provides the budget for fixing roads. Do they think that once summer is over, we can just start up where we left off on road repairs over the winter? Also, a suspension of the gas tax is supposed to increase the amount of driving, at a time when the budget for fixing the roads that support all this driving will be, literally, zero. They seem to not be taking this into account.

I, for one, oppose laying off the people that fix the potholes just so I can save eighteen cents a gallon, which brings it down (at current prices) to a not-very-more-affordable $3.51 from $3.69. If that makes me elite, well, bring on the caviar and $300 rental purses.

I have the same problem as Clinton. Rush Limbaugh has a crush on me, that creepy bastard.
