I've seen Bill Clinton speak twice now, and he is utterly mesmerizing and you leave thinking that for a rich white guy he's got a fantastic grip on the issues caused by racial and class inequality.

And then in the course of this campaign he's made a number of comments that completely undermine that impression. I think he's just feeling stung, like he can't believe that he's actually being held accountable for something for a change.
