Edit: Who is the fool at Google News that decided to house this headline under "Entertainment"?
Also incredible: Neither Yahoo! nor MSNBC has the story in their featured headlines.

Date: 2008-02-19 10:13 am (UTC)The best thing to watch, really, is the archival video footage of both the JFK and RFK assassinations. If you compare what all of the witnesses were saying immediately following the events with what the official story ended up being, the whitewash is plain to see. It's all up on Google video, in a series of 6 or so three-hour movies.
But you don't need that, or the magic bullet, the impossibility of the shot, Oswald's fascinating background, Ruby's bizarre behavior, the botched autopsy, the Bush memo, or anything else -- E. Howard Hunt confessed on his deathbed. What could his motive possibly have been, other than to tell the truth? It was too late to grant him more fame or fortune. If he was a CIA man to the grave, what does the agency gain with a lie other than more scrutiny and doubt? The only possible explanation, other than that he was telling the truth, was that he just wanted to fuck with the world one last time...and that's a pretty flimsy motive.
