Kucinich instructed caucus-goers in Iowa to go to Obama if he wasn't going to get 15%. In 2004, he said to do so for Edwards.

Today, John Kerry is expected to endorse Obama.

Kucinich's move I don't understand. Kerry, sadly, is that of the Establishment trying to protect itself. (And, perhaps, the bandwagon effect.)

I don't know if Edwards would go for VP again. I was hoping for an Edwards/Obama ticket.

how are these moves stabs in the back? Obama wasn't running in 2004, maybe if he had been Kucinich would have endorced him. In any event, it's not a betrayal to change your mind about who you want to endorce after 4 years time.

I think both endorcements are pragmatic efforts to back the non-Hillary candidate most likely to win. Hopefully Edwards will join with Obama sooner rather than later, so they can have a better chance of beating Hillary. Not that I'd mind terribly if Hillary won, but I'd rather have Obama/Edwards!
